Verse: The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law. But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. Therefore, my beloved brothers, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that in the Lord your labor is not in vain. 1 Corinthians 15:56-58
1 Corinthians 15 is one of the more beautiful chapters in the entire Bible. It goes through the Gospel and our response to it in such beautiful detail and exposition. But here at the end, Paul gives us such encouragement by telling us that the victory is ours in Christ. We do not need to tarry but rather can sing, “O victory in Jesus, my savior forever!”
The whole point of this TACSOP is to give you a guide in fighting this war. It is a daily battle that takes intense commitment and energy to fight. When you are fighting every day, it can get tiresome and sometimes you wonder if it is even worth the battle. Satan’s attacks come blow after blow. And when he or his system is not attacking you, you feel the attacks from within your flesh. You can feel like no matter where you go the battle is constantly upon you!
But when you are fighting this battle, you need to constantly remind yourself of this one thing, in the end, we win! And it is not we who win, because lord knows we don’t have the strength. But we have our victory in Christ! He has won the battle once and for all by rising from the dead and being seated at the right hand of the Father. It is through Him that we have our victory and therefore we fight from a standpoint of already winning! It is so much easier to fight when you know that you are going to be victorious.
This is a personal victory against sin in our daily lives. Our sins are nailed to a cross and because we are God’s chosen that can never be taken away from us. But because we have eternal security and are saved this does not mean that we “continue in sin that grace may abound” (Romans 6:2). Rather we fight sin daily knowing that because Christ is in us, we can have victory over that sin. It is a daily fight, but it’s a fight you can win!
The victory is personal, but we need to remember that it is overall the earth too. Christ is going to come and reign overall. He will judge the earth for sin, and He will set every injustice, sin against people, and personal sin a flame. He will judge the living and the dead to bring righteousness and peace to the earth.
“Then comes the end, when he delivers the kingdom to God the Father after destroying every rule and every authority and power. For he must reign until he has put all his enemies under his feet. The last enemy to be destroyed is death. For “God has put all things in subjection under his feet.” But when it says, “all things are put in subjection,” it is plain that he is excepted who put all things in subjection under him. When all things are subjected to him, then the Son himself will also be subjected to him who put all things in subjection under him, that God may be all in all.” 1 Corinthians 15:24-28
Christ will have ultimate victory. Those of us who are His elect will share in that. Take courage because this is your fate but also get busy because those who do not repent will be under His feet. We need to call people to repentance so that they can join us forever in the peace and rest of the King.

You know spiritual attack has been rife in my life lately…. Wow the stories I could tell from the simplest to elaborate and that’s just my life let alone the world around us!! Anyway, I had prayed through the armour this morning (and I’ve always appreciated your take on things from an actual soldier’s perspective, so helpful!) and I was ready to pray over the property and day etc and I couldn’t…. Pain, distraction all the things and I thought I’d come here “oh no you must do things in order!” Well no! Order is very important and sometimes there is a really good reason for order and sometimes the enemy just wants to take away our resolve and make…
