Here at Godly Grunts we are more than just a radio show and blog. We have a physical ministry as well the reaches the needs of those around us. Here are a few of those ministries that the Lord has blessed us enough to be a part of!
The Godly Grunt Blog and Podcast
Our blog and podcast ministry are two outlets that teach Soldiers how to become better Christians and Christians to become better Soldiers. Through Bible study and conversation we hope you find it educational and challenging.
Ministry to Soldiers
The Godly Grunts Ministry is conveniently located just outside of Fort Drum New York. We do many outreaches and ministries for soldiers and their families. Through Parkside Bible Church we host a life group at the Coopers (reach out for address and time), staff duty outreaches, and other random acts to show God's love to the ministers of the sword in our area.
Ministry to Veterans
The Godly Grunt Ministry seeks to impact the veteran community around us as well. In partnership with Peer to Peer Veteran Outreach and other organizations like it, we seek to help our veterans who are in need. There are a lot of vets who have troubles physically, mentally, and spiritually. We seek to show these men and women the love of Christ and help meet their needs.
Light Fighters QRF
The name of this aspect of our ministry is a play on two military terms. Light fighters refers to the light Infantry which can go anytime anywhere, while QRF stands for Quick Reaction Force. The light here in Light Fighters is the light of Christ rather than the weight of equipment. This ministry goes to coffee shops and other areas where homeless people in the Watertown community gather and seek to pray for them and meet some of their physical needs. We buy them a hot cup of coffee in the winter time and give them gloves, hats, or whatever their need is right there. Parkside Church along with other churches and ministries donate these and we ensure they get into the right hands.
